Hi, I’m Deanna Deveau, founder and senior Instructional Designer at D2 Academy Inc.

Training and development is not something I “fell into by accident”, but rather it has been an intentional career spanning years of creating rich and impactful experiences for a variety of learners.

I started out as a highschool classroom teacher, was an adjunct professor at universities and colleges throughout Canada, developed training and facilitated for organizations such as the Discovery Channel, the Government of Alberta, and numerous oil and gas, utility, health authority, and non-profit organizations.

I tend to view my career as a double helix; one strand is all about the field of education, and the other is all about business. When I wasn’t engaged in teaching and training, I was building and running my family residential construction business.

So why is this relevant to you? I understand your business needs as well as your training and development needs.

I am an entrepreneur and that means I’ll be just as dedicated to your goals as you are.
